ALSO Estonia dates back to 1992 when MicroLink AS was established. CHS Electronics, Inc. bought MicroLink’s wholesale structure in 1997. CHS Estonia became the largest computer hardware and software distributor in Estonia. CHS Estonia joined the Finnish GNT Group in November 2000 and in 2006 a Swiss company ALSO Group bought the entire GNT Group. ALSO Group is the leading IT distribution company established in 1984. In 2011 ALSO’s  shareholders' meeting approved the merger with Actebis. ALSO ACTEBIS is the third largest IT, telecom and consumer electronics distribution and logistics company in Europe.

ALSO Estonia’s annual turnover is over 30 million Euros, it represents nearly 130 well known IT, telecom and consumer electronics manufacturers.
